NovaEd Schools Companion is operated by Novateur Education Consulting (Shanghai). The platform provides a school directory, editorial content, and advisory tools to help families navigate international school selection. The platform is powered by NovaEd ONE.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents and guardians may create accounts on behalf of their children. All users in China must comply with applicable PRC law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@novaed.cn if you suspect unauthorised access. You agree not to share credentials, create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, impersonate others, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
All editorial content, school profiles, articles, and platform materials are the intellectual property of Novateur Education Consulting or licensed from third parties. You may access content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative works without prior written consent is not permitted.
School information is compiled from public sources and school submissions. We do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Always verify details directly with schools.
If you submit content to the platform (reviews, comments, or articles), you grant Novateur Education Consulting a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the platform. You retain ownership and are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. School listings and editorial content are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional educational, legal, or financial advice. We make no guarantee regarding admissions outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Novateur Education Consulting's total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the greater of fees paid by you to Novateur Education Consulting in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CNY 1,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The platform may integrate with or link to third-party services including NovaEd ONE and app.novaed.cn. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@novaed.cn.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute shall be submitted to the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC), with proceedings conducted in Shanghai. Users outside China may have additional rights under local law that cannot be waived by this clause.
Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
